Appendix Surgery

Appendicitis is a common condition faced by the age group 10 to 30 years who generally present with symptoms such as acute abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and abdominal tenderness. An appendix surgery or appendectomy is an emergency surgery such that delaying treatment may cause the appendix to burst. This rupture of the appendix can lead to serious life threatening complications such as infection in the abdominal lining, pus formation or even sepsis (complicated infection).
