A cholecystectomy, also known as gallbladder removal surgery is often required when there is gallstone accumulation in the gallbladder which causes Itching, Jaundice and Vomiting. This obstruction in the bile duct can cause a condition called cholestasis, which can be life threatening if not treated timely.
Critical Note: This rupture of the appendix can lead to serious life threatening complications such as infection in the abdominal lining, pus formation or even sepsis (complicated infection).
